200 Posts.
This is officially my 200th post. I am at a loss for something brilliant to commemorate #200 so I'll share this little ditty from my friend Becca for a memory lane exchange.
1. Add a comment on this post sharing a memory involving me. Any memory, directly or indirectly, whether you know me a little or know me very well.
2. Add this post to your blog and I'll share a memory of you on your post.
This could be interesting. Few people who've known me for a very long time read this blog. Some people who have never met me read this blog. That's ok, too. You could share a memory of your favorite post or a comment I made on your blog. Whatever. Happy strolling down memory lane. And all you family members and friends that call me about the posts rather than make a comment, I expect to see a comment!

I still remember the family dance at the Renton, WA Stake where I asked you to dance. I think you thought I was coerced into dancing with you but no, it was my own chivalrous ego that asked you. Who would have thought that nearly 3 times our age from that time we'd still be friends and maintaining an open dialog (be it blogging or otherwise)?
Going out with Kendal Batson and Trent ?, we went out to eat and then went back to your house for Italian sodas. We ended up wrapping Kendal up in toilet paper to make him a mummy. We all exited quickly when your dad came in and wondered what the heck we were doing with all the toilet paper.
The Batsons are in my parents' new ward in Kent. They called my parents and asked for a double date because they wanted to know them better. My dad couldn't remember the TP or the dance I went to with Kendal. I thought it was a little funny.
Texas, I know you were coerced and I know who did the coercing. Not that I wasn't ok looking, but obviously we are friends now and who knows where they are?
well, coercion is a strong term. Maybe "asked" is a little more appropriate. I think they had your best interests at heart. And surprisingly, we still keep in contact with one.
Speaking of old friends, did you notice Dave Hastings on Facebook?
what a cute idea. hooray for 200!
my happy memory about KJ is all of your fabulous advice emailed back and forth about our big move to idaho. you provided so many great tips, we loved it! i couldn't be more pleasantly surprised to meet a gal so sweet. you are a doll. and lemon bars never tasted so good.
I feel compelled to make a showing for your 200th! Favorite memory is surely living next door to your cuteness Freshman year - what was the name of that program we were in anyway? And then lunches in SLC after we'd all graduated and then a visit from you in Issy! I love keeping up with you virtually - here's to the next 200!
It would have to be your first encounter with the fam. I'm sure you were in shock and somewhat shaken when you returned home after that weekend. Some things never change. (Us, specifically.)
I think you were about 13, maybe older, and your family came to visit for Thanksgiving - we were all sitting around the dinner table enjoying a nice meal when Jeff (very young at the time) asked what that big red thing was on your nose!
I remember getting off the plane from Hawaii in 2000 and you and Brady waiting there (when that was still allowed) to share the news that you were engaged and to show off your ring. :)
