bookish

Everyone welcome, any time. A few ground rules:

1. Read it or don't read it, love it or hate it, but come along and have some fun.
2. No religious books, just to keep things interesting.
3. No smut. Nothing wrong with a good romance, but if you suspect the material would make your mom/sister/friend/neighbor uncomfortable, it's off the table. We just want everyone to have a good time. (But you can recommend it to me on the down-low,k?)
4. No vampires, please.
5. Hosting? Do it your way. On your own or group effort. Over the top or bare bones. We aren't keeping score.

by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.

Unanimously enjoyed. I'll be reading this again, I liked it so much for the language, the connection to characters, the compassion of the characters, and the powerful nuggets of history interwoven with the charming story that unfolds.
