Dear Mr. Lucas,

I'm afraid you underestimate your audience.  Of this franchise I'm a devoted fan. But. Was it really necessary? Sci-Fi with our beloved Indy?  Don't. Ever. Do that. Again. Pretty please.

Best regards,

KJ

P.S. I enjoyed the film anyway, but only a little.

P.P.S. The wedding scene was a bit much, too. Why not send them off into the sunset, in true Indy style?

I have never seen the Indies before this year. I just started watching the first three. I watched Temple of Doom last night.I must say it was a little weird. I've heard the fourth movie isn't so great but anything has gotta be better then pulling out bloody hearts and worshiping an evil God right?

It could have been so much better if they hadn't made it about those weird aliens!

I too am not a Sci-fi fan... The aliens were a little far fetched and I could not stand the scenes with all of those ants... they were so gross!!!!

So, not to disappoint you and your other half, but we just went and I LOVED IT! Infact, the alien part didn't bother me much at all, but it's partly due to the fact that I grew up WAY BEFORE you, in a era where aliens were on the news all the time. And once you've had a close encounter with one, as I have (JK) nothing will surpise you! For me, it was a great 2 hour escape from reality!
Maybe I need to get a life!
