Couldn't let summer pass without taking M to his first baseball game. Though our team is only AA, and is the farm team for the Kansas City Royals, the games are fun. Perfect for families. We didn't stay long as the game started at M's bedtime, but he seemed to enjoy himself. Each time a player got up to bat, he clapped his hands and yelled "yaaaayy!" Daddy was proud.
In M's hands are the remains of his first baseball game hot-dog. Daddy insisted. Mostly because it was "$1 hot dog night." I'm afraid I'm not tempted by a $1 hot dog, bun in the oven or not.

We have a minor league team here (the Las Vegas 51's) and it is always fun to go to those games. Glad you guys had a great family night out and enjoyed yourselves!
Does this mean that I am not supposed to bring hot dogs when we have our World Series party? I will try and think of something more appetizing. How about 'baseball hot wings'? We had a great time with y'all. We will have to do it again next summer!
I am with you-stadium food is not appealing to me at all, except a Tiger's Blood snowcone on a 115+ Vegas day does hit the spot. Totally makes the game for me since my boys could sit and watch an entire game if I let them. I can't believe that was M's first game. Jack has been going since he was 9 months old and loves to "wing" the bat with the players. I can't wait for him to start T-ball.
Thanks for the food tips. I'll try them when I get back if Aaron hasn't already ruined his appetite after the father/son weekend.
