My darling cousin and her husband recently returned from vacation in Sweden and Denmark. They are exhausted (I feel sooo sorry for them...) but she managed to overcome her jet lag and email me a photo of a gift they picked up for the new baby's nursery. I love it:

This is a print of a neighborhood in Copenhagen called Nyhaven. Jenny and Mike stayed there for a few days and learned it was once the home of Hans Christian Andersen and where he lived while writing the first of his fairy tales. After purchasing this print for me (and one for her own as yet fictitious baby) she returned to their inn and noticed a larger copy hanging in the hallway. It's perfect--the colors, the story, and the thoughtfulness. Can't wait to have it framed!
