Some music just makes summer feel like summer. Maybe the lyrics, maybe the rhythms, maybe the genre, maybe just the memories. Like Indigo Girls. U2. CCR. Dixie Chicks. The Beach Boys, of course. And this album. I discovered it in college and it's been a favorite ever since: a little bit folksy, a little bit bluesy, and I love her cover of Every Little Thing [he] Does is Magic.

Ooh, I love that CD. My summer playlist--let's see, I listen to Primary Songs, Curious George, Disney Princess music, and Joe McDermott (an Austin children's entertainer).
that is such a good CD. I lost it and miss it so. we are so similar...great selection. also been lovin' James Taylor, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews, John Denver and Neil Diamond as of late.
Will be downloading new songs now. Colvin is my high school soundtrack. Same musical taste too? Hmmm.
