We've been enjoying "boo-bewwies" with our breakfast this week. I like to eat them one by one, sweet after sweet, to be surprised by the occasional tart one. Many have joined the ranks of the raspberries and strawberries in my freezer. They lie in wait to brighten a winter morning via pancakes or muffins. I'm reminded of a sweet vintage children's book I stashed away long before M came into my life: Blueberries for Sal. One of the many happy genius works of Robert McCloskey. Delightful.

This is my all time favorite children's book. I remember the entire thing from my childhood and can't wait to share it with my own children. I love that you share the "vintage" books with your son!
