It's no secret I'm a fan of IKEA. I'm repeatedly enticed by the cleverness, modernity, and possibilities of multi-functional pieces like this one:

It's sold as a planter (perfect for a little herb garden) but I'm also envisioning it on a shelf in my teensy bathroom, holding make-up brushes and hair baubles and such. Other possibilities: on the picnic table for cutlery or condiments. In the new [halfway there] playroom for crayons. As a Spring centerpiece filled with wheatgrass, which I've never successfully grown. Stowing desk or craft supplies. In the nursery to hold diaper cream, cotton swabs, powder, etc. I could go on and on. Any suggestions? I'm serious about using it in the bathroom, what do you think?

Good idea...came to your blog through snippets...I bought the one with 24 little dividers...I'm using it for chipboard letters! Just had to have it!
Oooo...crafting station is what I'm seeing!
Okay that is awesome and way cute, I want one! Thanks for the idea.
