Even though I haven't been in a movie theater since last May, and I haven't seen any of this years nominees or winners (and most of them I probably won't ever see), I still look forward to the Oscars. I love the montages of great films, homages to performances past, and of course all the utterly unrealistic glamour. It's so other-worldly to me; I like to fantasize what I would wear and with whom I would mingle and what sort of speech I would give for my "best supporting actress" Oscar. These are my red-carpet picks from last night.
May I just say that Johnny Depp is dang good lookin' and I hope to look as wonderful as Helen Mirren when I reach her stage in life.

I read an interview with Mirren in which she shares her secrets.
The woman is crazy. But wow.
Depp is to die for!
I LOVED Helen Mirren's dress. So classic.
i loved Anne Hathaway! For the men: Patrick Demsey. and for the couple of the night: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart (minus the earring on Harrison).
Heck. I don't look as good as Helen Mirin now and I'm nowhere near her stage in life.
